Hit and underwater rock pile on the last trip of the season. Boat is currently in the shop for fiberglass work, along with outdrive work. What do you recommend for the damage to the outdrive?

Is it leaking OD lube? Crack difficult to see in photo. Bravo 3??????? If not leaking lube, and difficult to find a reasonably priced OD, perhaps TIG? Used and good Alphas ae much easier to find than Bravos.

Yes----Many cracks can be welded.------But likely the housing will be distorted .-----Internal parts will not fit or be lined up correctly !!!

I appreciate the feedback guys, it’s going to be an insurance deal so I wanted to verify the shop and my thoughts.
