I’m pretty sure that I put a wire in the wrong place accidentally. I keep the outdrive down while resting on the trailer. It was down when I last took all the wires off the batteries, starter & solenoid to clean corrosion. At that time I posted & got the help I needed, ( I did not put a battery wire to the solenoid!) so I’m thinking I have a wire in the wrong place again.
From the hydraulic pump I see the largest black wire with a red tape on the end connected to the positive battery. The smaller wires I never disconnected or moved.
Messed up my day that I was finally going out to the lake, tomorrow is another day
Thank you for help!

I’ll look this evening, when it cools down some. I didn’t see a ground cable but it makes sense!

My cables are not color coded well. That black wire with the red tip that was on the + belonged on the -! I also found 2 small wires poss & neg that I believe goes to the switch.
Thank you for your assistance!

Ayuh,..... The positive goes to the solenoid's big buss bar, 'n the ground goes to the pump's mountin' bracket,.....
'n that bracket tends to rust,....

I probably need to build a buss to attach most of my wires to. Clean it up. I have 3 wires maybe 4 in the positive & at least 4 in the Negative, in one of the 2 batteries. It’s easy to loose one when they are all removed.

F/U my 1 st outing with the boat this year. Me & my son. I can hardly believe it ran so well, cranked & ran so well after stopping for a swim. It did not take in water up front like it has for the past 2 years.
I had 2 issues that I’ll ask in a new post.
