outdrive oil leak?

Hey Guys -- I have a 2000 5.7 Merc/Bravo II . I seem to have out drive oil leaking some where between the bottle on the engine and the drive. it is leaking into the bilge. it leaks about 1/8" every 30 minutes cruise time. Mechanic says everthing freom the bottle back was pressur tested and they cant find where it is coming from. ANY IDEAS- I am tired of having to top off the oil.<br /><br />Thanks<br />COOL IT

Where's it going? Where do you see it leaking at?

I cannot see the leak and either can the Mechanic-- but it ends up in the bilge?

any chance the yoke seal is leaking into the boot first and then into the bilge

wouldnt that be checked when they put my drive back on for the season??

Cool it,<br />I had the same problem last year and it was the yolk seal. I don't know if they ran a pressure test or not but it fixed the problem.
