Re: outdrive transmision jack
I assume you are talking about a device to help in outdrive removal.
If so keep your laughter to a minimum but my perfect redneck device consist of a 6 ft ladder, two pieces of galvanized pipe one appx 6 foot long the other 3 foot long and larger diameter, and add one trusty and rusty boat ratcheting tie down strap.
Step one: Sit beer on stern of boat and place ladder appx 4 ft behind outdrive.
Step two: place larger diameter 3 foot pipe over smaller diameter 6 ft pipe.
Step three: place girlfriends coat on stern of boat to avoid scratches, place one end of pipe on appropriate ladder step, other end on girlfriends coat.
Step four: pick up beer can that was knocked over with pipe and replace with new unit.
Step five: place one end of ratcheting strap around larger pipe, other end on outdrive hook and take up slack. Slide larger pipe back and forth over the smaller one as needed.
Remove outdrive, hide beer stained girlfriends coat....etc you get the picture....
