Outside Trim lines?

I was messing with my trim lines, because I am trying to figure out why the outdrive will not trim down. I think I hooked them up right, but I am not sure. Does it even matter? Its a 75 slickcraft ss195 with an 888 outdrive.

First pic is the right side if you are looking at it from the back and the second pic is the left side. If you guys can let me know if I have them hooked up right that would be great.

The lines can be hooked up backwards. They look ok.If the rams have dry seals then they wont work.Try WD-40 and pressure on the rams.Have someone cycle the drive and stand on it jump up and down.Keep spraying. Jerry
