bought a 20 yammie 2 stroke 2 years ago,it was the most expensive and you just can not start it easy first up,been back 4 times,9 to 10 pulls then its fine ,a total embarrassament at the boat ramp,selling it totally disgusted in it,and we have tried every possible way,new fuel ect,over it.owned boats for 30 years.

i finally solved the problem,i sold it today,never yamaha again.

ended up buying a suzuki,great motor,starts easy,saw a guy pulling his guts out trying to start his yammy that also was near new so i was not alone,i have heard that the 3 cylinder yammys are way better but i will never buy one again.
