I got my rapair /cdi combo unit from recommending local dealer ..from rapierCDI. tech..<br />Rapair does not sell direct..only thru dealers.<br />P/n is 194 8825k1 .. for my 86 XR2<br />never goes above 14.5 volts

Take voltage readings with more than one VOM, perhaps you have a guage reading incorrectly.

Still over charging. Installed second voltage regulator, still works its way up to 16 volts above 2500 RPMS. Can anyone tell me the stator part number for my engine, SERIAL NUMBER OB334217 MODEL NUMBER 9-1354128.<br /><br />I also replaced the ignition switch, noticed magneto terminal on old switch was loose, would not tighten. I noticed that all guages would go off and on when I wiggled it. Do you think this could cause a stator or switch box failure.<br /><br />Thanks for any suggestions<br /><br />Ron
