Over heating, please help!!!

I put my boat it today. 75 hp Chrysler has new impeller. Powerhead not getting water, so it overheated.

Sounds like you either have some kind of blockage, a bad thermostat, or the water tube didn't hit into the water pump correctly when you put it back together. Be carefull!! you don't want to blow your motor.
