Re: Overdrive lockout- Need it or no?
Dude it's just something you have to deal with on public forums.
I know it sure can be annoying, why post if you have nothing to say? or why post if your not going to even consider the persons question? I don't know some people are just real bored and like to. It happens all the time though, even the mods do post non answers and wrong ones too. If someone doesn't want to answer a question you'd think they just wouldn't post, but they do.
I guess all you can do is just ignore them and wait to see if someone will weed through it all and try to give you a good answer.
Either way there are some really cool people you can meet on here that would love to help you out as much as they can and iboats is a great company, not only for these forums but to purchase things from too.
Don't get discouraged though, I met one of the guys from iboats (the company not the forum) at a get together we had a while back and had a great discussion with him about what iboats was trying to do with this forum and it really is a cool thing they are trying to do here.
Nevermind I will go find my manual and just do what it says no questions asked! Sorry to take up your time with a stupid question, but considering you could reply "Just check your manual to about 80% of discussions on this forum I guess they should just switch the name of this forum to Check your manual, your topic is silly forum. I just thought the weight of my boat and tow rating of my vehicle might fall into a gray area instead of being a cut and dry yes or no answer. Some things in real world driving situations might be debatable to some people.
