I have a '74 Ford/Volvo 302 that has a fuel pump with an auxiliary glass bowl to detect any fuel leakage. My guess is that it tells if the primary diaphragm fails.
I understand that newer boats have a clear plastic tube that goes from this spot into the carburetor. Where exactly does it enter the carburetor? How would I convert to this system.
I had one fuel pump fail and the glass bowl did its job.
