I was able to get everything installed. However, as soon as I turned the key the overheat alarm went off. What do I need to do now? It didn't go off last time I turned the key while the engine was cold.

Verify that the motor is actually overheating, laser temp gun will work. Assuming its not overheating check for faults to ground in the tan wire,

Disconnect the tan wire and see if it stops, then check the sensor, there should only be continuity between the leads when it's hot. As in over heating
