Overheating problem 5.7 L

I'mm looking at buying a boat that the dealer has said has an overheating overheating problem but they will fix before sold. Is there anything I should be aware of or watch for before I buy this boat?

What do they mean by overheating? Did it warp the heads? Did it blow a valve? Why it overheat?
