i painted my 10' gw invader deck with red enamel and it appeared to go on nicely and looked good for about 4 hours after it was sprayed. at this time bubbles started to appear that were anywgere from 1/16 of an inch to 1/4 inch. this is the third paint job where this has happend. and its always in the same spot. the deck was perfectly dry when we painted it, yet when the bubbles burst they are moisture filled. we thought priming the boat with red oxide primer would help but it didnt. the weird thing about the bubbles is that they go all the way through the 3 layers of paint that i have put on, and the previous owners 2 layers, to the original metalflake paint the boat came with in 35 years ago. the middle of the deck looks perfect tho, and it has been treated no differently. does anyone know what is wrong and how i can stop this from happening?
