Hey guy.Would someone know what color bayliner used back in 1987
Im looking to repaint my boat and Dont know what color they used.
Its like egg shell white and blue.Any info would help.

They used an eggshell white and a blue, sorry, I couldn't resist.

I can look up the code and name tomorrow if we have computer records going back that far, but I don't know if it'll help you though.

Have you tried to wet sand and buff it? It worked wonders on my '85, plus you'd have to do the sanding if you were to paint it.

Sorry Guy I forgot to tell you I have a body shop I paint two to three cars a week.I could wet sand and buff her out but there are dings and sfuff that look bad so I think I just going to repaint plus the bottom paint looks bad also so Im going to remove it all.

Unless you leave the boat in the water for long periods of time, there's no need for bottom paint.

Our computer records don't go back that far, so we may need to look it up in the paper files. The problem is, there will be no conversion to paint codes or formulas, so while you'll possibly have the name, it won't be of any help.
