paint for bilge area

I have a 95 astro bass boat. I am looking at painting the bilge area. There is some wood that the batteries site on that has paint peeling off. Wanted to touch that up and some of the fibreglass also. Any suggestions on a paint. The bilge area sees very little water and no oil or gas.

Being in OZ and not knowing your paint systems over there, id be inclined to use a decent oil based under coat on the wood, then after a real good clean up id use an epoxy based enamel paint over the bilge area and the wood, the more coats the merrier.

I used Sherman Williams epoxy paint macropoxy 646

Thanks guys. Went with the interlux bilgekote. Works great and looks great.
