Paint job help - hiding dents

I'm trying to decide how to paint my old aluminum boat. It has seen better days cosmetically...lots of little bumps and dents.

I considered the camoclad vinyl but that's a lot of money and seems like painstaking work.

I might use camo stencils but I'm afraid it will look too 'hillbilly'.

I've used fleckstone paint to hide surface imperfections on some stuff in the past but I'm not aware of a similar finish that doesn't have the raised texture of fleckstone (too much drag).

Any tips, ideas?

Use white paint. Any paint with color will show the dents off more. Filling the dents or pounding them out will be tedious work.

Yes camo is nice but not on my boat either.
