Just thought Somebody would like to know..I finaly figured out how to get all that non drying 2 compound paint off my (a year and a half building)honeycomb pilothouse!
Got my self a big bag of metal scrubbing pads and three yes three gallons of laquer thinner.Slowly working loose the paint With the pads, towel in other hand Wiping the paint off very quickly,It took me three full days but i got everything off,The best is the primer stayed on rock hard .All that rests is a little sanding wiping her down and shes ready for some serious paint.
I can tell you this:I had some very nasty thoughts about the salesman at the store right after this happened..Three years of work down the drain,Transom rebuilt,Stringers rebuilt, sole rebuilt(floor)Inside cuddy refurbished,And of course the pilothouse.Mostly all honeycomb.will send picks in due time they are all over my p.c and lack time,But I will.
Thight lines. :)
