Re: paint problem

You can try emailing or calling the manufacturer - they should be able to give you specific advice. I find paint companies to be VERY helpful in general.

Re: paint problem

OK this sounds like "fisheyes" which are caused by grease/wax/silicone contamination of the surface being painted. The grease spot repels the paint.
You need to wet sand, degrease with panel wipe, and repaint, see if you can find an anti-silicone additive from your paint supplier, this helps the paint to flow better and should eliminate the fisheyes.
It's possible the contamination came from the spraygun itself, so strip and clean it before using it again, and don't use any kind of lube when you reassemble it.

Re: paint problem

I'm using the same paint on a boat right now, I had to thin the paint real good to get a good spray. I see no reason you can't wetsand, be careful with the buffer, maybe hand buff, or sand to 2000grit. The buffer will melt the paint if not careful...just a thought :)
