Kirker Paint Co. Newburgh, NY, they have been business since 1892, and in my opinion the best coating for the money.
I have been slinging it on boats for 12 years, user friendly, good texture, scuff resistant, repairs easy, equal to or better than DuPont Centari for half the money.
Wimbledon White, with wet look hardener, color equals gelcoat white on the high dollar boats.
Should be available at you Cali automotive paint
stores.
Here's a link to their site, give them a call for a distributor in your area.

http://www.kirkerautomotive.com/acrylic_enamel.html

Re: Paint Qualities

Hi,
Have a look at what these guyes accomplish.
It is amazing how good a boat can be painted by pros:
http://www.yachtcare.se/Lackprojekt.htm

(look at that 23' Lancer... a wreck that became a diamond in hands of this company)
All text is in Swedish but the pictures should tell all that is needed.
They seem to prefer AWLGRIP paint.

Bo:
I don't know what that boat would be worth in Sweden but here in the states it would be mega-bucks.
I am finishing up a 1977 flywheel forward Chris Craft, original engine, original carpet, new seats, new paint. Already appraised at $15,000.
Restored old C.C. bring good money over here.
