i have a fiberglass boat that i would like to repaint. need some idea of what type or brand of paint to use. i plan on using a wagner power sprayer to apply.
my concern with rustoleum is that the can say not to be emersed in water. don't plan on docking my boat but my be out on the water for more than 8 hrs at a time sometimes.
All I can tell you is there are guys on here who have painted their boats with rustoleum and it has lasted for years. It is NOT recommended for boats that are Kept in the lake for long periods of time but if you launch at day break and take her out the next morning the paint will still be there.
Why use the power sprayer? I haven't done it, but have read that outside of a professional spray job, you can the best finish with the roll and tip method. That is what I was planning to do with my 86 Sea Ray.
