Here is where I'm at now. There are a few areas that I can't get with the grinder. I even tried aircraft paint stripper with no luck. So I'm just gonna wire brush a little bit and prime it.

now I'm just waiting for a good warm day to paint it.

Here is what it looks like with 2 coats of primer and 2 coats of paint on it. I'm going to put one more coat of paint on it and call it good enough.

Here is where I'm at now 2 coats of primer, 3 coats of paint, a new winch, a new jack, new safety chains, and the rollers are back on. All that's left is rewiring, which is started, reinstalling the bunks, reinstalling the lights and putting her back on the trailer.

I like the walking planks that appear in Post #44. I have a couple of 30" tamarack "running boards" behind the wheels on my trailer. Always meant to install walkway planks but never got around to it. I have only slipped off balancing my way down the trailer twice since 1993

timdan, you did a good job on the trailer, still grinding on mine, almost there. Hope mine turns out as well as yours. nice feeling having the boat back on the trailer.
