Hi,
I was wondering whether anyone could make a suggestion for type of paint for my engine compartment a bildge. I have the engine out and it is a great time to clean and repaint.
Thanks Roman

Yes, now is the time to spiff up your bilge.

Degrease and scuff up the glass in the bilge then spray it with interlux Brightsides. If the glass cloth was poorly filled with resin from the factory then I would be inclined to give it a good coat of resin, then scuff and spray. You do not need to prime it if you are painting onto clean bare glass/resin.

Otherwise the surface would hold dirt and oil and be difficult to keep sparkly clean.

Bilgecoat worked GREAT! note that I'm NOT a fan of brightsides! it's too soft and not as shiny as decent automotive two part urethane...
