OK so last night i finished priming my boat(after a good sanding. I am only painting above the rub rail, so tonight i will do a light sanding and then get started painting. I have not ever painted a boat before.....so I am nervous as hell! I am using the roll and tip method. Here is my thinking, first tip all edges, corners and then roll the rest. Once it dries completly (over night) I will do a light wet sand, and then do the same process all over again for second coat. I know its not going to be perfect, but to be honest I do expect it to be dang close. I believe I bought the self leveling, so that should take out a majority of my "orange peel", but a thought that has been going through my head is.......the areas I have to use the brush, and then the areas I use the roller....will it be a huge noticable difference when in the sun light? Thanks any help would be great. I have read a ton of threads on painting.
