That was the brake controller's fault, not Chevrolet's fault.

Lot of bitching and moaning here for stuff that doesn't sound that bad to me.

Isn't that what internet forums are for. That and conflicting opinions....lol

I was refering to the brake controller's instructions being at fault and how much of a advertised "plug n play" was worth the extra money because of the time it didn't save me.

I guess since we have been talking in this thread about how cars these days are set up to make things difficult to work on and take things apart to change simple light bulbs, we were talking about the vehicle and not add ons....Sorry.

2003 was the year the Silverado changed at the fuse panel. Plug and play kits from 2002 and before don't work for 2003 to 2006.

Try a Toyota Pries, headlamps are $150.00 each and 3hrs labor!
