Hello,
Does anyone have or know where to find a lower unit shift rod for a 1955 7.5hp evinrude fleetwin. Any help would be great.

Robby, you can get your part from tcoutboard.com, (not tcmarine).

They are a used engine dismantler and have some of everything you can think of.

I just inquired to Twin City Outboard about parts for the same motor. They actually have them in stock. Or you can buy it from ishopmarine.com for $42.20 as a special order part, but lord knows when it will arrive. Do you have a parts manual for your motor? The part number for the shift rod is 303401.

i got those so confused, laingsoutboard.com also has a lot of used parts.
