Hello, I have a 1998 mercury 200 EFI and had a few questions about it. When I was cleaning my motor the other day i noticed this round piece with wires coming from it hanging. here is a picture to show you.
My question is what is it? Second question is it looks like the harness rotted or broke, and do i need to replace it? Thank you for your help.
