Number one on you priority list when looking for parts should be to get an exploded view parts book specific to your motor. www.outboardbooks.com
Then with that information, you can search for parts by part number. Your local Evinrude dealer is a good place to start. For obsolete parts, www.sea-way.com A few parts such as water pump impellers are right here at iboats.

Carb part's may be hard to find, and exspensive. I think I may have a full set of needles', and seats', plus the tool to set the float level. There is really quite alot to this engine. It has electra-matic shift. Alternator charging system, with many of the electrical components' in a large aluminum junction box that bolt's to the transom. This box contains the voltage regulator, diode's, main 50 amp fuse, and starter solinoid, aand all plug-in connectors'. There is a throttle control box with the electric shift switchs. There should be a amp meter, and on, hot light that mount's in the dash. I would take that 15 hrs running time with a grain of salt. My solar powered calculator say's it's been sitting probably 44 yrs, if it has 15 hrs. running time. It's amazing the owner can remember how long he ran it. Probably seem's like yesterday. Jerking you around here alittle, but I've heard that story before.
