the reason i use laings, is they specialize in the old stuff.

I just found I have the same motor. I also just went to laings outboards it was down the street from my work! I drove by and they happened to have our motor on the back of a boat in front so I stopped. I didnt put the 2 together untill now! Great guy there helped me gave me everything I needed and some pointers too! not too much either 112.00 or something

When you buy parts, don't forget that you have the later model powerhead in it. Most things will be the same but there might be a difference or two.

Anything non-powerhead related should be purchased using the 1958 model year for ordering purposes.

Looks like they are all available from this site at a better price. Any reason NOT to get em here VS laingsoutboards.com??? Laings in in New York and Iboats is out of Utah so i would get the stuff a lot quicker i think.......

Priority Mail is 2-3 days between most points in U.S., and First Class postage is also 2-3 days, and cheaper, for small packages going short distances where the package won't be put on an airplane. So distance is not much of a factor, except for the postage differences. Flat rate boxes are same cost anywhere in U.S. for anything that will fit in them. What does make a difference is whatever the vendor charges for a "handling charge", and their carrier of choice.

iboats provides this site free of charge. Why not support them if everything else is about equal?
