Well I am wondering why there isn't a sales Thread on this sight?

I don't think we're allowed to sell stuff directly on this board.

EZ prolly knows the rules, care to spell 'em out for us?

This is listed under "Forum Rules"

#8. You may not solicit any personal transaction (buy, sell, free, donate, etc.) in the forum. Personal transactions arranged completely by Private Message are not affected by this rule. Solicitation by PM must be preceded by contact in the forum.

Maybe they could start seperate area and charge $X to place an adv. It might help pay for all the web admin expense.

The people who buy new parts would still continue to do so and the ones who buy used will also continue to do so. Just look at all the CL and flea bay traffic that is already on the site.

Personally I agree with Iboats policy as they are in business to make some profit. They do not do so with the forum but they sure are a godsend to starcraft owners and wanna bees . It takes a lot of time to keep a good site going and we should all be gratefull for the FORUM as it is. Sending a P.M. is a easy option to find a buyer. Pugetsound

One of the other sites I stop by from time to time has a classified section. It's awesome for the most part. Excellent for buyers and sellers. But, when a deal goes south, the mods are there to babysit and sort out the mess. Gigantic headache for them. Such a mess.

I'm bummed there isn't a classified section here on the forums. But, given this is also a boating store and the risks/mess that go along with classifieds, I sure don't blame them for not wanting one.

Pretty sure one of the other rules is not to discuss the rules.

It's my understanding that you can post up saying you have something, after that it's in PMs. For instance I have Starmada hats, 9 gallon poly fuel tank and starcraft deck vents.
