I have a 1984 and 1973 115hp merc are the powerheads and carbs interchangable?

Carbs are interchangeable, although their may be jetting differences. '84 motor will have backdrag carbs. '73 motor may have dual fuel pumps.

I do not know if powerheads will swap. I think they will, but not sure. Several of the experts on this forum will provide that info.

No as the ignition systems will not interchange with the blocks and the top carb would have to have the top throttle arm changed
