Party at Gonfishns' place

End of june will be the great musky hunt. Leech Lake is suppose to be one of the premier musky lakes and gonfishn has a cabin real close to that lake. I am looking forward to fishing with him. The challenge is on. I dont plan on making any bets for head shaving, but am willing to go head to head on rubber ducky versus buck tails. Three days of nothing but fishing. What more could a man ask for?

I'm in, may not make all three days but were fishing. GF told me but remind me what dates you are gonna be there? Don't forget the cass chain, also well respected in it's own right.

Muskyone emailed me before he moved into his new house(is computer dead for a while)and will be there on the 18th to..<br /><br />Now,I will be there from the 11th til whenever...Have struck out twice now ..once with BubbaKat in Tenn(rain)and the other with Mellowyellow(we watched Noahs Ark float by on that one)<br /><br />As I do every year I have invited the Ancient one to join us and JB if you see this the invitation still stands..Btw Neaumans had the biggest catch last year. Its was a 28Lb. Anchor Fish..Also don't be makn fun of my ducky,MellowYellow saw it in action first hand..It flapped real purty...<br /><br />Here is my front yard..Less than 70 feet to the lake..<br /><br />

Hopefully you will not strike out this time. We have had rain now for almost two weeks straight. Should be out of its system by the time you get here. You may need to repaint the outhouse though. Hope you used exterior paint for the poka dots. Might be hard to match that pigment. Extended outlook for next week is low 70s and sunny. Doubt water can be very warm up there yet.

So Neumans. When are you going to be at Gonfishns cabin. I talked to him last night and he said they were going to go do some night fishing for walleyes on his lake but the storm front that came in kind of changed his mind. Next Sunday is fathers day and I got a ration of crap from my wife, but I will be up there anyways. I am fishing Deer Lake in Deer River wednesday and thurday. If you make it to gonfishns one of those days let me know so I can get there. It is only about an hour from where I will be staying.
