It was great, right up until the flag fell to the ground... to their credit though, they did have a group of people who did try to keep it off the ground.

Yea, I kept watching to see how they were gonna keep the flag off the ground ... didn't quite work. They made fast work of picking it up, but didn't succeed in keeping it from touching the ground.

My flag touched the ground. Do I need to destroy it? No. You should, of course, try to avoid having the flag touch the ground. But if it does, you should correct the situation immediately. If the flag has been dirtied, you should clean it by hand with a mild soap solution and dry it well before returning it to use.
