i have found a 2002 alumacraft 195 invader with 150 evinrude.has a simply hummingbird and trolling motor they need out of the payment and asking payoff at 7400. then i found a 2000 xpress x19 and its local with 200 merc optimax,blinker trim,humminbird 757 si sideview imaging,hot foot and a jack plate. he says he is self employed and just wants to upgrade at 10999. both these boats look identical. i think express is made by alumacraft. i think the optimax is drawing me in.

Optimax's have had there share of issues.
You might inquire about the maintenance.

i would go with the first one, but it still sounds like they are upside down on their loan. they owe more than current market value.

Most of the early Opti problems where with the 115 and 135 HP motors. The 200 and 225 HP have been pretty solid motors.

i looked at the 2000 xpress today.the carpet was not much to look at.the hull had alot of scratches and dents in the bottom. i mean pretty big dents.and the dash was very faded. i really thought that even with 200 optimax and the 700 dollar humminbird side view that 10500 was to much.
