My PC suddenly decided on it's own that when go to A drive to look at a jpg photo on the floppy from digital camera it goes to Netscape to open it. If Netscape is not open, it won't open the photo, just ignores the command. Floppys show Netscape icon on this PC.
When run them in laptop everything is normal. JPG icon.
Does the same thing with JPG attachments to E-mail.
Using Netscape 7.0, no updates for over a year.
I can work around this, but it's a pita. Any ideas will be appreciated

SW-use small words and talk slow and I'll try to keep up with you

Thanks Dave

Okey Dokey Dave.....

You can reset the file association for jpg's. Try this.

Run Windows Explorer (you'll see the file folders on your C drive etc.)
At top menu , select Tools, Folder Options
Click on File Types
Scroll down until you find JPEG (JPG)
Delete this entry
Confirm delete if necessary, and exit

Insert floppy disk in A Drive
You should see jpg files with generic icon
D-click on a jpg file
Dialog window should pop up asking you to pick which program you want to run and open jpg file types
Pick Netscape

You can pick another program if you wish, say, Paint Shop Pro(if it's installed), or another graphics editor program of your choice.

All this is a shot in the dark, as you didn't mention your version Operating System.......
