I'm in the final details of my engine installation last thing flame arrestor , I know
Needs crankcase ventilation should I install a Pcv valve or just
Leave the holes just with the hoses conected to the flame A. I also have a vacuum valve coming from
The Holley 600 wonder if I should put one hose there to the ventilation hole.

Marine engines (pre-emission control laws) don't use PCV valves. Just use the hose as Merc intended it. As for the vacuum port on the Holley? It that a PROPER marine carburetor?

That port may be for the clear hose which runs down to a mechanical fuel pump, if you have one, to show if the diaphragm fails.

Should have a tag on it to indicate marine, or use the model number of the carb and check against Holleys website... If you can spring the coin, ditch the Holley and get an Edlebrock 1409... Much better in a boat.

Good point. Where's the connection on the carb, near the top or near the bottom?

One of the easiest ways to tell is the vent of the float chamber. Is it straight up (non-marine) or is it curved and pointing down the barrels (marine)?

The port is near the bottom next to the choke and its straight , I have an electrical fuelpump , when I started the engine ran a little rough put my finger on the port and ran smooth , so I put a plastic plug on it , but still confuse on wether should be connected to something , I also have another port coming from top near the linkage throttle. assembly but that one was plugged with a plastic cap like I did with the other one .

It's curved, so it's marine yeiiii , but I was talking about the vacuum port next to the choke , should I plugg it or connect it to the vent hose from valve cover

The valve cover vent runs to the flame arrestor not the carb. Leave it plugged off.
