Re: Peak reading tester
Hi Kevin
Our main concern/question is why do you think you need a peak reading circuit/meter?
If your working with cars, boats, houses there is no need for the reading. If your reading is fluctuating then the most probable cause is a bad ground or the ground is floating. There is a "hold" feature on the meter I suggested, but if your wanting a hold feature the Fluke model MM1000 is less and also has the feature. The hold feature when pressed just keeps the reading on the meter until it is released. Set aside the hold function your 8020A meter is all you need for a boat except it will not read 10 amps without a shunt adapter. Also your 8020A is a RMS meter.
So how do I make an adaptor for myself? Thanks,Kevin
