I'm trying to find a pedestal for my 1993 Bluefin Spectrum 1956. Is there a standard size for the fitting where the pedestal fits into the floor? The pedestals I have look like the ones in this picture I found on ebay:

Is there more than one size or manufacturer?

Re: Pedistal Seat Size?

Does the part that inserts into the deck base plate look exactly the same as your old ones? If so you have found your pedestals.

There's a plethora of seat base styles (king pin, plug-in, 238, snap-lock, taper-lock, etc) but the main 2 manufacturers are Springfield Marine and Swivl-eze (Attwood). Some of the parts between these manufacturers are interchangeble, some not... The big thing to check is the pedestal diameter as they have 2", 2 3/8" and 2 7/8",,, which in pictures look very close. I think the taper lock is 2 3/8".
