Hello everyone and thanks for all your replies. I finally tried the advice of someone who suggested it probably was a cap that was broken at the nub on the power steering cooling pump located at the rear of the engine. As a last resort before taking it to the shop I found a 3/8 rubber cap at the auto parts store and installed it. That resolved the problem! Apologies to the person who suggested that fix. I just could not see the designers putting a rubber cap in that location. Why put a nub on the power steering cooling unit at all? Any way thanks again for all the comments.
