Pepto for Trim Fluid - Where to Start?

I was looking at my trim pump reservoir and noticed that it was overflowing some and looked like it was filled with pepto-bismol. I assume that means I am getting water into my trim system. I looked at the hydraulic hoses and fittings (both inside and outside the boat) and they look to be in good shape. I don't see any fluid leaking outside the boat, and the only fluid leaking in the boat is what overflows out of the trim reservoir cap. The reservoir has never been submerged, or even close to it. Any ideas on how to find the leak? Any help/suggested course of action is appreciated. Thanks!

Boat details: 1999 Volvo 5.7 PEFS with a Volvo SX Cobra (SX-M 1.51) outdrive.

Look at the trim cylinder seals closely, I bet that is the issue.

I'll have to look at those, but I need to figure out where they are first. I'm having a hard time finding the parts schematic in the iboats store. The trim pump and rams don't seem to be under "engine parts" nor can I find them under the outdrive section. Any ideas?

If it is the trim cylinder seals, are they hard to change?

You'll find one on each side of the drive unit.
