I love the black lol. It does get a little hot, but splash a little water on it and its not bad at all. The nice things is the black is alot easier to make look clean than my old bayliner lol.

That picture was just ater I had removed all of the oxidation, just had not yet polished or waxed it, so its even shinier with the polish and the wax on it.

I love the boat. The interior is all white/creme with some navy blue, so it stays nice and cool. Only the back where the swim platform is gets hot, that you notice.

Here is a picture of the exhaust, another view of the boat, the new Intake and Carb to go on, the Carb is the Marine Edelbrock 1409 and a picture of the rear of the boat. I love the boat, its a 94 and Everyone that Sees it is like wow, thats one Bad Boat. Thats because the solid black just looks fast, even if its not moving.

Your right, it looks fast sitting still!

Your carb is sitting on backwards! :D

You may want to test fit thermo housing. It doesn't look like there would be any clearance problems, but always pays to check.

Did you pick-up a 4brl throttle bracket? or plan to mod the 2brl one?

If you are not making your own fuel line, you can purchase the one for a 350 Mag w/Weber, should fit.

Watch ebay for both of the above, for the best deals.

Intake looks like an Edelbrock Knockoff made by Professional products. The Real Airgap RPM's wont work with 87+ heads, only the AG Performer will. I see the intake pattern bolt holes are oval and that intake should have come with adapter inserts as well. Let us know how the fitment of that intake is with those inserts. I was looking to those intakes for future prodjects.

Yes, you are correct this is the Professional Products Polished model. I got a smoking deal on it, compared to the Edelbrock even though they did not have the same one for my engine. It did come with the fittings as you stated for the bolt holes.

I Just dropped the carb on the Intake real fast to take a few pics, when I first got it and did not pay attention, just trying to get the pics of it.

I was given a picture of a way to mod the 2 bbl one, from another person that did this same upgrade to a Chevy 305, but if there is a brakcet at Summitracing.com I would love to order that and not have to worry about making the old one work.

I was also going to order a new Fuel line from Summitracing as I still need to order a new Flame arrestor, and was going to get it from them. Do you have any recommendations on the bracket or the Fuel line? I would greatly apreciate it. I have been looking but am not to sure as to what I need exactly. I was going to get my Mechanic, to tell me, since hes not charging much to install it, I figured it was worth it instead of doing it myself.

Re: Performace Mode Help

Throttle Bracket is a Mercruiser part:

817685T BRACKET (CAST) $52.35 $48.88
805359T BRACKET (STAMPED) $35.54 $34.63

Same bracket was used on multiple 4brl Merc engines. Many ebay sellers won't have the part number. I picked-up the stamped version at less than half the price, including shipping.

I went with a Merc fuel line so I didn't have to bend my own SS tubing or worry about Coast Guard regs:

Fuel Line:
32-8217611 FUEL LINE 32-821761T (350 C.I.D. WITH WEBER CARBURETOR) $45.63 $44.03
32-805360T FUEL LINE (5.7L ALPHA WITH WEBER CARBURETOR) $46.35 $44.74

Mine was a different part number, because I went with a Q-jet. I believe the one you need is the top one, but do some checking. Ebay was about 1/2 price + shipping, but it was new in bag. It would come off a 350Mag or 5.7LX w/Weber carb, if searching ebay.

Flame Arrestor, I went with a K&N. I got a new one off of Ebay, but the fittings for valve cover vents were pricy. I did get them from Summit or Jegs. Others have made their own attachments.

Note: Part number info is from MercrusierParts.com
