Looking for some input on performance stainless props for the old Volvo 280/290/SP drives... Anyone have experience with Solas, Volvo ultra, Ron hill marine (thrasher) props? Any other manufactures out there for stainless? Currently lookin to make the switch from aluminum for max cruise/speed Thanks,

If you presently have a good setup;if your able to develop a perfect setup the difference will likely be measured in hundredths of a gallon.

You really need to be more specific. For performance, the HR Titan would be better than the Saturn. The lower priced Amita's are cupped, priced right in 3 or 4 blades that are progressive pitched and have thinner blades than stock.

The above will wring out about as much performance in your rig that you will find. You should be using a long hub, even if it's a 4 cylinder.

Solas doesn't have the HR Titan in long hub. I only have the knowledge of the Solas so I wouldn't be able to say if it is the best but from what I learned and heard Solas makes good props that perform very well.
