Re: personal attacks by moderators

It is a privately owned site, they have a right to censor whatever material they want......plain and simple.

We HAVE the right to speak our minds no doubt, they have the right to censor it. IMHO

You don't have absolute free speech in a well moderated, private website. You and I are guests here.

Yes we are, and within limits we have free speech, so does DJ. And that is what this thread is about.

Here is the truth. Are you ready? Brace yourself. You kids are getting out of hand with this free speech nonsense. Iboats is a business and we are the advertisers and the customers in many forms. Obviously what we have here is a case of misrepresentation in the eyes of the member(s)/ customer(s). I don't know who DJ is but he is indeed a representative of Iboats which you and I are a member of. Like any organization, whether private or public, a rep. conduct should be of the highest standard. However, I do believe Dj should have his say because he is also a member but because the word "Moderator" is attached to his S/N, I think it is wise for him to do so under a different name so not to create bias or misunderstanding.

The professor, the plaintive, in this case is a highly valued member/customer. It is not in the interest of Iboats to loose him and I would hate to see him leave. The chain reaction, if not prevented maybe irreversible. This is not our first rendevou.

I report, you decide.

Take two asprin and call me in the morning. 8)

As long as Iboat wants to keep these forums open, they should be open within reason... and within the subject of this thread... DJ didn't do nothin' beyond his own nature.

The BS artists that are trying to get him banned are just that...... BS artists.

Call it what you want guys, you are trying to get him banned, and you should be ashamed.

RB, come on back... then I can pick on you again 8)

Right on senior Crunch. I don't know what DJ said but that's beside the message I'm trying to get across. Notice I said, "In the eyes of the member(s)/customer(s)". We are not trying to get anyone banned. Just addressing the issue.

The existence of this forum is purely a business venture. Nothing happens without financial motivation. Trust me, I know. 8)

Can we go back to talking about SBN being Chucky's bride? I got this mental image…

Custom,

"CJY, you just make me tired, and I'm not going to try to straighten out your twisted mentality... asta baby. "

I'm surprised, no not really. Your response is as expected. See above, where I mention your response when the size of the hole you find yourself in is realized. You are right on track.

I never have called anybody predictable before. It appears appropriate in this case though. And for a person so tired, you posted a whole lot of nothing over 9 more posts since making this statement. Whole lot of talk, with very little to say. Again, you are "staying the course."
