Re: phase charging 3 batteries

Is there a diagram of the charge panel referenced on page 12?
Just a guess at this point but the single pole/single throw switch that selects 12V or 24V means that when you are in 12V mode, only one of the batteries is being used in 12V mode and this charge panel is connecting the positive of one battery to the negative of the other.
Bruce, I have looked and can't find a diagram, but believe you are 100% correct in your thoughts.
This is what it says at top of page 13....
"BOATS WITH CHARGE/RUN PANEL"
"If your boat is equipped with a charge/run panel you will have four (4) trolling motor leads at the rear of the boat. Connect the positive (+) leads to the positive (+) battery posts and connect the negative (-) leads to the negative (-) battery posts (See Figure 2 or consult you boat owner's manual)."
Figure 2 is what I posted above. I suppose I should have included this when I posted that above.
Even though I've been a bit scarce, I really would love to get something like this going and I finally should have a bit of time to mess with it.
Thanks for all the help.
As for the $600 thing, I'm not sure I'm interested in spending that much, but then again I don't run my troller a bunch. I just want something to keep them topped off, so they are there when I need/want them. Also, I don't think on most bass boats with over a 150hp motor the weight of a couple of batteries is going to make much difference in top speed. Of course, I'm not a tournament fisher either!!
