I am unable to locate a thread on how I post my photo bucket album of a restore to the iboat forum. Help and advice appreciated.

Re: Photo Bucket

I have not used it in awhile, but if I remember right,
Go to photobucket and click on the pic so you can viex the pic, then copy the url, go to iboats reply box, click the insert image button and paste it there, then use preview to see if it works.

I jsut use the photo album on iboats to post pics. Its in the user CP and I think its easier. Plus you dont get yelled at for posting a pic that is to large.

Re: Photo Bucket

After all the reading and tinkering all I get is "failure". I will keep working on it. A good rainy day to fool around with something other than a boat. Thanks for the advice

Re: Photo Bucket

Thanks Bob, I am starting to get somewhere. I manually downsized the photos to the specs first and having some success now. Can I load a whole album of 10 photos at once on a thread?

five attachments per POST however, in your thread you can have and endless amount of posts.

Re: Photo Bucket

Brovo. I figured out how to create an album thru user CP. My problem appeared to be size. I reduced the pixels manually and the download was successful. I enjoy many challenges, but downloading more than 5 photos a DAY I would be in the nut house. As always , thanks Bob

Re: Photo Bucket

Here's another way:

Go to photobucket and click on the photo that you wish to link. Once it has been "enlarged," click on the URL code - you will not have to save it to clipboard, because photobucket does that for you, when you click.

Now go to the thread that you want to post the photo in and paste the link address, in the body of your post. Type
after it, with no space between the codes and the link.

Re: Photo Bucket

One thing that I forgot to mention - keep your photo size to about 600 pixels or less on the longest side. That will keep them from being too large for practical viewing at iboats. If you've ever seen a thread here that you have to scroll back and forth in order to read an entry, a photo in the thread that is too large, is the reason.
