Photos of original gold 9-Teen

Greetings guys,

Does anyone out there have a photo of the original gold top color of a 1972 Nineteen? Trying to figure out if it's close to the vinyl seat color.

Thanks, I've been to the site. I was hoping to find a photo from a gold nineteen owner that might give more details. That being said DH and I are seriously thinking of (gasp!) changing the color to an aquamarine that isn't a original Aristocraft color.

I haven't seen a god one. Put up some pics of yours. Mine is mahogany brown hull with and off white almondish colored upper. I haven't seen any of those either. There is a pic or two in the link in my update thread.

I'm going to have to find a way to post photos on a forum. I don't have them on a website- just on my computer. The only thing left of the gold are the seats & dash. They are in surprisingly good condition.

Last weekend I saw a correct craft in the most beautiful blue. Maybe just a little lighter than the blue restoration Scott did in 2008. We are seriously thinking of changing the color to blue...... it just speaks to me!

first check out photobucket for a place to drop your pics. Follow my links that are all over this forum. My top was a purplish shade of blue before I painted it. I thought it looked pretty good and left the interior of it that color. You'll see it in the pics.

in the earlier models, there was a slight aquamarine color... was never really a production though... let me see if i can dig something up on monday.

On My 73 Nineteen, the top is a lighter gold than the seats and the dash....
How is the carpet in yours?Thanks

The carpet in mine was replaced before we bought it, It's charcoal and we've ripped it out.

I've contacted Parasol to formulate a dye for the top and seats, I used the vinyl from the seats as a sample, so it looks as if my top may end up being darker than original.

The dash and front seats aren't in bad shape, but I'm going to have to recover the back seats.
