[3.0 merc issues]

help need a pic of the wire and distributer as factory bought boat and has a hesitation on the hole shot it pops and dies unless i ease into it i'm lost

do you think the firing order is incorrect, or the distributor/wires are the wrong kind??

have you looked into anything fuel or ignition related??

That is a Carb/ Fuel Delivery Issue,...
Not the sparkplug wires...

i'm not sure i just got it and it sounds funny the manule sucks at proper plug identification i know the bow is one and the stern is for the order is 1-3-4-2

did you ask the previous owner about service histroy, tune-ups, etc...??

did the boat act "funny" when you test drove it before purchase??

whats the best rout in correcting this problem i am mechanical incline just been a fuel inject mapping junky new to carbs

no but it did pop and die when he throttled up but testing on a no wake lake sucks he said it was cold but he didn't know much he had just replaced the water pumps thats all

start with checking the fuel system from tank to carb and the tune-up/igniton stuff

it only does it like that till i get to 2000rpm after that it runs decent do you think the carb needs a rebuild or a filter changed i pulled the main one it was good

If you had a couple of plug wires crossed, it wouldn't run at all. You need a full tuneup and some carb work.
