kinda happy about the find. I actually have two motor apart now!!!
and some of the tools are very specific to my two most important outboards..
once of which i am getting a block back from the machine shop next week.
seems a guy that went out of business several years ago, finally decided he need cash more than he needed the tools..
I really was glas he sold me the engine mount, so it will be sooooo much easier assembling the block!!!
I got a nice commercial large capacity gear case filler, the engine mount for a work bench with the two way attachment, a bunch a year specific tool add on for OMCmechanics..in the years of my motors!!!!
one of the best is the tool to time the Optical sensor motors!!! I had worried about that if I would be able to time it with out this tool..
some other neat electrical stuff that left you determine of the wiring harness and guages are good before you install a motor..
plus another to check and start a red plug motor with out the key( you can stay back by the motor and do it all..neat!)
some tools to check the elctrical componets, like coils and stuff..
a bunch of seal and bearing tools...
and the guy threw in a cross flow V4 gear case...sans gears,....but still good..
$260......
I actually gave him $40 more than he asked and asked him if it would be ok to call him if i got stuck on a omc problem.....he said sure!!
hes selling a nice 99 heritige softail Harley...if anyone out there is interested... $8 K... REALLY clean and shiny!!!!! fully loaded!!!
and a 1969 MGB . dont know the price
