Congrats, we signed a purchase agreement for a 2011 204FS in January. Trading in our current Monterey. But it appears that the
deal may not work out. So I guess we stay with a 30 foot boat. Too bad, the 204 is the best boat for it's size and style out there.
Believe me, we looked at every bowrider in the 19' to 21' range, and the Monterey was the best value for the money.

Montereys are rare here in MN with only one dealer way out of the metro area but I think they are in a small group of makers that really focus on the details on their small bowriders. A lot of brands are finally starting to pay attention but Monterey has for a long time.

One of the dealers here in town used to carry them, but stopped a while back. They said the reason was that they are all made in florida and to freight them here was very expensive making them less competitive priced to other brands. I noticed this new Monterey owner is in Georgia. They're probably much more common there.
