The Colorado River I grew up on is green and not that clear.
This is turning into a hijack, but the picture looks right to me. "Colorado" means red and prior to multiple dams, the river that stretches from Colorado to Mexico was red (mud) colored on much of it's stretch. Below Moovalya (Parker AZ) it is much murkier. Powell, Mead, Mohave and Havasu all have pretty clear water, and the water below the dams is crystal . . .

That sure does look like the Parker strip. The water is clear enough you can be cruising with the depth gauge reading 12 feet and watch the bottom going by:)
