did you use anything special on the toon's to clean them or just got lucky with the power washer?

I do hvac for a living and started out with a/c coil cleaner. I ran out and started using simple green. Simple green did just as good of job. I used very fine steel wool. it does leave some light scratching if you look hard enough so if you wanted them "pretty and shiny" you would have to do some buffing or something. I was just wanting to get the scale off, it was really heavy and ugly! Realizing that the toons will be a constant battle to keep looking perfect, im gonna settle for "decent" and save myself alot of work

hmmm, simple green . . . gonna have to try that. i just picked up an old toon that has been sitting in the water for 5+ years so i have a lot of work cut out for me

Yeah, I spent a good part of a weekend scrubbing those toons. Shoulders got a little sore to say the least! Mine sat in the water for quite awhile too so they were pretty bad. Hope it goes well for ya and keep me posted! Got any pics?
